Common issues

My TV isn't showing up

Make sure your iPhone and Samsung Frame TV are on the same WiFi network. FrameSync uses local network discovery, so both devices must be connected to the same router. If you have a mesh network, ensure they're on the same band (2.4GHz or 5GHz). Try restarting the app if the TV still doesn't appear.

Photos aren't uploading

Check that your Frame TV is turned on and in Art Mode (or standby with Art Mode enabled). Large photos may take a few seconds to transfer. FrameSync will show progress during upload. If uploads stall, close and reopen the app.

HEIC conversion failed

FrameSync converts HEIC photos to JPEG before transferring. If conversion fails, make sure your iPhone is running the latest iOS version.

Art Mode isn't switching

Your Frame TV needs to be in Art Mode before FrameSync can change the displayed artwork. Switch into Art Mode manually on the TV first, then try again from the app.

Which TV models work?

FrameSync supports Samsung Frame TV models from 2017 through 2026. This includes The Frame, The Frame Art Mode, and related models that support Samsung's Art Mode protocol.
