Three properties, one Sunday afternoon
Jennifer hosts three rentals, each with a Frame TV. On a Sunday afternoon at home she builds three summer albums, coastal photos for the beach house, garden shots for the cottage, city scenes for the loft, previews each set in a real Samsung matte, and renders a few 4K collages from the 13 templates. Nothing has been sent yet; everything is staged and ready.
At the next turnover she is at the beach house anyway. She opens Frame Photos on the property WiFi, taps the saved TV, and hits sync: the summer set goes up, the autumn photos come down, and the slideshow is set to rotate every couple of minutes. Can I update a property’s Frame TV from home?
You can prepare everything from home, albums, matte choices, collages, slideshow timing, but sending photos to a Frame requires a device running Frame Photos on the same WiFi as that TV. Share the album through the cloud and a co-host or cleaner at the property applies it in one tap during turnover. Frame Photos does not control TVs remotely over the internet, and we would rather say that plainly than have you discover it at the beach house.
Do I pay per TV or per property?
No. One purchase covers every Frame you manage. The lifetime unlock is $9.99 (it will rise to $14.99) and works with unlimited saved TVs across unlimited WiFi networks, on iPhone, iPad, and Mac with a single Apple purchase. Right now the app is free for a limited time, and early downloads keep full access. For a co-host setup, iCloud Sync is a one-time $14.99 add-on for Apple-only teams and runs on your own iCloud; teams that mix Apple and Android use Frame Photos Monthly at $2.99/month per person, where the syncing runs on our Frame Cloud.
My properties are on different WiFi networks. Does that work?
Yes. Frame Photos saves every TV you have connected to, each tied to its own network and its own albums. When your device joins a property’s WiFi, the app finds that Frame again, shows its status, and can wake it over the network. Every model year from 2017 to 2026 is supported and tested, including the 2017–2021 models with the legacy art API, so properties with different Frame generations all work from the same app.
Is it actually worth it versus my USB stick routine?
It depends on how often you rotate. A USB update means exporting and resizing photos, driving to the property, and loading images through the TV’s on-screen menu. With Frame Photos, prep happens at home and the on-site part is one sync that also removes stale photos and configures the slideshow. Rotating art at three properties four times a year replaces twelve trips or menu sessions with taps. If you visit weekly anyway and change art once a year, a USB stick is honestly fine.
